CREAMY BEEF NOODLES IN THE MICROWAVE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Knight Estate in Seven Points, Texas in 1986.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small white onion chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 4 ounce can mushroom pieces drained
  • 4 cups uncooked noodles
  • 2-1/2 cups water
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons mustard

Directions
  1. Crumble beef into 2 quart glass casserole then add onion and microwave uncovered 6 minutes.
  2. Drain fat and stir to break into pieces.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix to combine.
  4. Microwave covered for 14 minutes stirring 2 or 3 times.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
