chinese chicken and shrimp

- 2 chicken breasts boned and cubed shopping list
- 21/2 tablespoons oil shopping list
- 4 teaspoons thinly sliced fresh ginger shopping list
- 1 onion thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/4 cup sliced celery shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1 cup (250)ml chicken stock shopping list
- 11/2 tablespoons sherry shopping list
- 11/2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1 green pepper cut in squars shopping list
- 1/2lb(250)g shelled shrimp shopping list
- 21/2 tablespoons soy sauce shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Quickly brown the chicken cubes in the oil until crisp on all sides in a frypan.
- 2. Add the ginger onion and celery and cook until soft.
- 3. Mix the cornstarch with the chicken stock.
- 4 Add to the chicken mixture and bring to a boil
- 5 Stir in the remaining ingredients and cook over a low hear for about ten minutes stirring constantly.
