Fish Fillet In Sweet And Sour Sauce Recipe
i made this during christmas eve. this would also be good using steamed fish. you can pair this with rice.

Ingredients
  • fish fillet - good enough for 2-3 persons
  • 2 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • pineapple juice
  • sliced pineapple
  • 1/2 cup carrots julienned
  • 1/4 cup ginger julienned
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 onion minced
  • cornstarch dissolved in water
  • vinegar
  • soy sauce
  • sugar
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. prepare fish fillet by dipping each piece on the beaten eggs then cover them with breadcrumbs. Fry until golden brown.
  2. in a saucepan, saute garlic and onion.
  3. add carrots, ginger, bell pepper and cook for about 3 minutes.
  4. put in the pineapple and pineapple juice.
  5. pour in vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch. bring to a boil.
  6. stir constantly until sauce thickens.
  7. salt and pepper to taste.
  8. remove from heat then add the fillet on the sauce pan. Stir and then serve.
  9. *you can adjust the amount of the liquids used here according to your taste. frankly, i did not do any measuring when i cooked this.
