Hawaiian Dream Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • Hawaiian Dream Cake Coconut Pineapple Icing
  • 1/2 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 (16 oz) box powdered sugar
  • 1 can coconut
  • Heat together the pineapple and margarine. Boil 2 minutes. Add powdered sugar and coconut. Punch holes in cake with knife. Pour hot icing over cake.

    Wouldn't it make more sense to poke holes in the cake with the back side of a wooden spoon? Using a knife wouldn't allow the topping to seep in very much. Just a thought.
