A deliciously simple recipe for making delicious sausage balls. I got it from Lela Mae Gilchrist, whoever that is. The name sounds like that of an old Southern lady, and the taste follows the name's allusive quality.

Ingredients
  • Bisquick [3 cups]
  • Cheese, Cheddar, sharp [2 cups]
  • Milk
  • Sausage [1 lb]

Directions
  1. Mix ingredients together.
  2. Add splashes of milk in stages, just until the balls cohere.
  3. Roll into balls, putting them onto a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes at 350F.
  5. Eat.
  6. If you can't handle them all, store them in an airtight container.

I love these... have had them many times.... they are so good dunked in cheese dip too.....yummers!!!
