Ingredients
  • onion, grated
  • crushed garlic, 1 tsp
  • precooked kidney beans, 750g
  • precooked brown rice, 1 cup
  • dried oregano, 1/2 tsp
  • soy sauce or miso paste, 1 tsp
  • diced celery, 1 cup

Directions
  1. Mash the kidney beans. If they're homecooked you might like to add more soy sauce as the canned ones used in this recipe were reasonably salty.
  2. Add onion, garlic, rice, oregano, soy sauce and celery to the beans. Mix well.
  3. On a greased, flat baking tray, roll the mixture into two log shapes and dust with flour. Or put all the mix into a loaf tin instead.
  4. Bake at 180*C for 45 mins.
