This might sound like a strange bread but my grandmother used to make it every Christmas Eve as an appetizer. It kinds of tastes like a Monte Cristo.

Ingredients
  • Crusty Italian bread
  • 3 tablespoons of grated onion
  • 2 cups of mayo
  • 8 tablespoons of grated parm cheese

Directions
  1. mix together the mayo, cheese, and onion
  2. slice the bread in half length wise
  3. spread the mixture over the bread
  4. broil until bubbly (I like it almost brown)
