How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, salt and pepper. Stir often until onions turn brown, about 15-20 minutes. Stir in thyme. Remove from heat and transfer onions to a mixing bowl and let cool slightly.
  • Mix together cream and eggs. Pur over onions and mix well. Pour into pie crust and bake 25-30 minutes, or until browned. Let cool slightly before serving.
