CHOCOLATE RUM SHAKES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Strayhorn Estate in Crowley, Texas in 1997.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups very cold milk
  • 4 ounce packet instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Directions
  1. In blender container combine milk, pudding mix and extract then cover and blend until smooth.
  2. Add ice cubes then cover and blend until combined.
  3. Let stand 3 minutes to thicken slightly.
