Abbys Applesauce Loaf

Very easy. Delicious applesauce loaf cake. No eggs, and mixes quickly! Can make muffins.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter or shortening shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups thick sweetened applesauce shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon soda shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice shopping list
- 1 cup raisins shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl, with mixer, cream butter or shortening, and sugar
- Add applesauce, mix well
- In another bowl, sift flour, soda, spices together
- Add raisins to sifted flour mixture, covering raisins well
- Add flour, raisin mixture to applesauce mixture
- Combine and mix without beating
- Pour into well greased loaf pan
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes
