Pan Fried Cod Recipe
This dish has some unique flavors to it goes well with rice pilaf and asparagus. My parents really like it

Ingredients
  • 20 Cod fillets
  • 100 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 100 ml fresh almond slices
  • 200 g fresh parsley leaves
  • 100 ml butter
  • 70 ml cooking oil

Directions
  1. thaw cod fillets in fridge
  2. squeeze 100ml of fresh lemon juice
  3. tear parsley leaves from stem and throw the stem away
  4. pre-heat nonstick frying pan on medium heat
  5. put a little bit of butter in to pan and pour rest of butter in to a bowl then use the cooking oil only a little
  6. put 2pc cod into frying pan and brown just a little bit then flip with a rubber spatula
  7. slide on to a plate then use 5ml of lemon juice and while pan is hot put the lemon juice into the pan and sprinkle some almonds in to the pan and hold the pan sort of side ways and stir for about 1minute then pour onto the cod and sprinkle parsley leaves on top

Love cod! - Omit those almonds and throw in some onions and I'm all in!


Definitely love cod and I never would have thought of cooking the almonds in lemon juice. I'll give it a shot.
