How to make it

  • PEEL AND CHOP THE POTATOES AND THE ONION SMALL.
  • FLAKE THE MEAT (M9NCED MEAT CAN BE USED IF DESIRED)
  • MAKE THE FLOUR, FAT AND SALT INTO PASTRY.
  • ROLL PASTRY OUT INTO SMALL ROUNDS
  • PART COOK THE POTATOES AND ONIONS TILL SOFT THEN MIX WITH MEAT WHEN COOL.
  • PUT AN AMOUNT OF THIS MIXTURE IN THE CENTRE OF EACH PASTRY CIRCLE. DAMPEN THE EDGES OF THE PASTRY AND SHAPE TO SEAL THE FILLING.
  • GLAZE WITH BEATEN EGG OR MILK
  • BAKE ON A BAKING SHEET, IN THE OVEN FOR 30 - 40 MINUTES.
  • DON1T FORGET THE GRAVEY WHEN SERVING.

    Fabulous - love this or something similar my Aunt Mabel from England makes. She says odd job men take them to work and eat it for their lunch - fascinating isn't it. Love the caps BTW.
