How to make it

  • Mix the first five (the dry) ingredients in a bowl.
  • Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Combine milk, egg and vanilla in a measuring cup. Add liquids to flour mixture and stir until ingredients are moistened.
  • Fold in cinnamon chips.
  • Drop by very large tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Sprinkle with extra cinnamon and sugar.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

    Mmmmm ... cinnamon. A long time ago I had a friend who made these for parties AND WOULDN'T SHARE THE RECIPE! Thanks for this one - I can't wait to try it. I've said it before: What did I do before I found this site?!

    This sounds like a cookie I would want, only I do ot know what cinnamon chips are.

    Please tell me what can be used in case I can not find them.
