No bake cookies... My husband's favourite.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup Hershey's cocoa shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 3 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats shopping list
- 1 cup flaked coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts ( optional ) shopping list
How to make it
- In medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil; remove from heat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients. Immediately drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Cool completely. Store in cool, dry place.
- Yield about 4 dozen cookies
