This is a 1961 recipe from a Carolina Up Country Cook Book. Green cabbage with celery, white raisins soaked in sherry, pecans , apple, a little onion mixed with mayonnaise.

Raisins soaked in sherry go into my empanada pie and I love them. Now I can't wait to try them in this recipe. Sherry does something magical to that dried up grape. YUM.
