Hazelnut Polenta Recipe
HAZELNUT POLENTA This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Choker Estate in Garland, Texas in 1994.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup polenta
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts

Directions
  1. In saucepan bring stock and milk to a boil.
  2. Whisk in polenta and salt then cook over low heat 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. In small sauté pan melt butter and allow it to brown slightly.
  4. Add chopped hazelnuts and sauté 3 minutes then stir into cooked polenta.
