Irish Cream Cake

- 1 cup chopped nuts-optional shopping list
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup irish cream-or to taste shopping list
- Glaze: shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup irish cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Grease and flour a 12-cup bundt pan.
- Sprinkle nuts in the bottom of pan. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl,combine cake mix,pudding,eggs,water,oil,and irish cream.
- Beat until well combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan
- Bake for 1 hour
- Let cake stand for 10 minutes then turn out onto wire cooling rack.
- Cool Completely.
- Glaze:
- In small saucepan,combine butter water,and sugar. Boil 5 minutes stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add irish cream.
- Place cooled cake onto a plate
- Prick top and sides with a fork
- Slowly pour glaze over top of cake allowing it to run down the sides.
- Serve.
