How to make it

  • 1. In double boiler melt chocolates together.
  • 2. In a little bowl beat the egg and add to melted chocolate.
  • 3. Add the teaspoon of vanilla, nuts, and powdered sugar. Mix in enough powdered sugar to make a soft, but not sticky dough. Hands work best in mixing in the powdered sugar.
  • 4. Roll into logs, about an inch around. Place on wax paper on cookie sheets and refrigerate until firm.
  • 5. Slice into thin slices. Freezes very well.
  • Makes a generous 2 pounds.
