How to make it

  • Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon into a bowl.
  • Melt together the butter and honey,
  • Pour this into the dry ingredients.
  • Mix with a fork, than push the dough together with your hands.
  • Don't knead or overmix.
  • Place the dough on a well-floured surface, and roll with a well-floured rolling pan to 1/8 inch thick.
  • Cut in rectangles (approx 1 3/4 inch by 3 inches) with a knife and prick them with a fork.
  • Place on a lightly greased baking tray and bake for 10 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
  • cool on a rack.
  • Simplicity at it's finest.

    Great that you posted this recipe as I can't get graham crackers in England. When I make a cheesecake I have to substitute digestive biscuits for graham crackers. Just bookmarking the recipe for future use. How close do they come to the packaged ones?
