Chocolate Snaps

- 7 tbsp unsalted butter, diced shopping list
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup shopping list
- 1/2 cup molases shopping list
- 2 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup superfine sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp apple pie spice shopping list
- 3 1/2 oz milk chocolate shopping list
- 3 1/2 oz white chocolate shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line two or three baking sheets with parchment. Put butter, syrup and molasses in a small pan.
- Heat gently, stirring constantly, until the butter has melte.
- Remove from heat ans set aside.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and spice.Slowly pour in the butter and molasses mixture and stir to combine well.
- Place large teaspoonfuls on baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until just beginning to brown.
- Leave to cool for a few minutes on baking sheets.
- When firm enough to handle, transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completly.
- Melt the milk chocolate and white chocolate separately in the microwave.
- Swirl a little of each into the center of each cookie ad leave to set.
