Baked rice pilaf

- 3 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 onion finely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup long grain white rice shopping list
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable stock. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- In medium saucepan heat olive oil and cook onion stirring frequently until translucent.
- Add rice and cook stirring for 5-6 minutes until some of the grain starts to look translucent.
- Transfer everything to a 11/2 quart glass baking dish.
- Bring stock to a boil and pour over rice.
- Cover dish and bake for 30-40 minutes.
- Stand 10 minutes
- Fluff with fork before serving.
