A great fat free plum sauce for egg rolls or mu shu pork.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Smuckers Plum Jam
  • 2 tsp. grated lemon zest
  • 1 tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed anise seeds
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the plum jam on low until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about a minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Let the sauce cool, then use as a meat seasoning or as a dip for egg rolls.
