A wonderful recipe for a cake that is full of flavor. Use MacIntosh apples for the best flavor.

Ingredients
  • 4 1/2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Mix apples and sugar together.
  2. Add eggs (well-beaten), oil, nuts, and vanilla.
  3. In separate bowl, mix remaining dry ingredients together and add to apple mixture.
  4. Bake in a greased 13x9 inch pan for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
