Ham Potato And Mozzarella Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds frozen pizza dough thawed
  • 1 pound small red potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound red onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seed
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced black forest ham
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces dry jack cheese finely grated

Directions
  1. Place potatoes in large saucepan then cover with water and bring to boil.
  2. Cover then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
  3. Drain and cool slightly then thinly slice and set aside.
  4. Melt butter in large skillet.
  5. Add onions, sugar, vinegar and fennel then cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
  6. Heat oven to 475.
  7. Divide dough into 6 balls and roll into circles.
  8. Top with ham and potato slices.
  9. Season potatoes with salt and pepper then cover with red onions.
  10. Sprinkle cheeses on top and bake on larged baking sheets for 10 minutes.
