Ingredients
  • Hoagie Rolls (one package of 6-slice into two pieces)
  • Pizza Sauce--28 oz
  • Mozzarella Cheese-4 cups (depends on how much cheese you like)
  • Pepperoni
  • Mushrooms (Optional)
  • Hot Dogs (cut down the middle-but not into 2) (optional-I love pizza dogs and always make some of these when I make pizza bread)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Slice hoagie rolls into two-lay out on cookie sheets
  3. Cover rolls with pizza sauce
  4. Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce
  5. Layer pepperoni or place hot dogs on top of cheese
  6. Place 3-4 mushrooms on each piece of bread (optional)
  7. Place completed pizza bread in preheated oven and cook for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Let Cool and Enjoy! I always make double and sometime thirds-I think they are great the next day as well if there are any leftovers left.

This really sounds great. I’m definitely going to have to try it. Thanks for the recipe :)

Do you think veggie hot dogs would taste good on top?

I am not sure about the veggie hot dogs..never have tried them myself, but chances are if you like them now you will like them on the recipe!
