Easy Jamaican Jerk Chicken Recipe
This is so easy. Just combine ingredients, marinade for 8hrs, and grill. I make it the night before, and my boyfriend has an excuse to start the bbq. Goes great with white basmati rice and to cool the tongue with a tomato/cucumber salad.

Ingredients
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • 1/3 cup O.J
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp jalopeno pepper, minced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 2-3 pounds chicken thighs, cut into pieces

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients. Chicken, green onion, o.j, ginger, jalopeno peppers, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, cinnamon, and ground cloves.
  2. Combine in a re-sealable plastic bag and leave refrigerated for 1 to 8 hours. The longer the better.
  3. Skewer Chicken on metal skewers.
  4. Prepare barbecue, medium heat. Cook chicken, and drizzle with left over marinade that has been boiled for 2 to 3 minutes

Great stuff. When I make this I go crazy with a fork and put a bunch of holes in the chicken so the marinade gets in there.
