Ingredients
  • 3 Cups shredded coconut
  • 1 1/2 tbps cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp vanillia
  • 4 ounces of sweet chocolete pieces

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. mix coconut,cornstarch,sugar,egg whites and vanillia in a heat proof bowl.
  3. Set bowl over a pot of boiling water (or use a double boiler)
  4. Heat stirring until mixture thickens (4) min then set aside.
  5. Spoon out mixture (about a tablespoon) and palce on ungreased cooking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-15 min. (untill golden brown ( but still soft )
  7. Melt chocolete then dip macaroon bottoms letting chocolete drip off
  8. Place on wax paper until they are set.

These sound soooooo good. I can't have the chocolate.. but... I bet they are wonderful without!!!
