Spicy Chicken Shrimp Jambayla Delight Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Cloves garlic minced
  • 3 Stalks celery sliced
  • 1 Medium onion diced
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Teaspoon pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Creole Spice (Tony Chachere's is what I like use)
  • 2 12oz cans of stewed tomatos
  • 1 6oz can of tomato paste
  • 2 Bonless skinless chicken breasts cubed
  • 1 Teaspoon pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Creole Spice (Tony Chachere's is what I like to use)
  • 1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1lb Shrimp deveined with tails removed
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Creole Spice (Tony Chachere's is what I like to use)
  • 4 Cups Rice

Directions
  1. In a deep saute pan
  2. Add Celery, Onion, Garlic, Butter, Pepper, and Creole Spice. Cook this on medium heat until the celery is tender. Add the stewed tomatos, stir occasionally over medium heat until it slowly starts to bubble. Add the tomato paste and continue to stir over medium heat.
  3. In a frying pan
  4. Add Chicken, Pepper, Creole Spice, Worcestershire Sauce, Soy Sauce, let this marinade until (you add the tomato paste in the pervious section and it is slowely bubbling).
  5. Cook this over medium heat until the chicken is done.
  6. Pour all of this into the Veggies in the saute pan.
  7. Continue cooking over medium heat.
  8. In a frying pan
  9. Add Shrimp, Butter, Creole Spice.
  10. Cook this over medium heat until the shrimp is cooked.
  11. Pour all the sauce and shrimp into the saute pan.
  12. Cook all this over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes letting all the flavors melt together.
  13. Serve over rice and if needed add a splash of (Louisiana Hot Sauce)
