Ingredients
  • 2 bunches fresh kale
  • 1 lb stew beef
  • 1/2 lb linguica (as spicy or mild as you like)
  • 4 potatoes (your favorite) I like red! Canned new potatoes work in a pinch, just don't add them til near the end.
  • 3-4 large slice carrots are equivalent of tiny carrots
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • beef bouillan
  • The amounts given are my best guess...the recipe I got from my mom didn't include any specific amounts, only the ingredients!

Directions
  1. Slice linguica and dice stew beef & brown
  2. Place meat in large stew pot and fill with water & bouillan about 3/4 full
  3. Add vegetables
  4. Simmer and stir for at least 2 hours, the longer it cooks, the better it tastes!
  5. Serve with a rustic bread and enjoy!
