Banana Split Bread

- 1/2 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 large) shopping list
- 3 tablespoons milk shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Combine bananas and milk. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with banana mixture. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until done. Cool for 10 minutes in pan. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
- Serving quantity: Serves 16.
