Matrimonial Cake date squares Cookies

These are very similar to the classic date squares. The squares have always been a huge weakness on my part and these cookies are going to be a problem for me lol.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 3 cups oats shopping list
- 2 cups chopped dates shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- Stir in oats and dates.
- Bake at 350 degrees for around 10 minutes.
- Bet you can't eat just one. I couldn't!
