Peanut Butter Date Candy Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 lb chopped dates

1 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter

1/4 c melted butter

6 oz chocolate chips

Directions

Mix first four ingredients together and shape into little logs or balls.

Chill.

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips.

Dip the logs into the chocolate. Let dry on waxed paper.

You can put them in little paper cups to make them nicer. :o)

My Mom always put dates in her "peanut butter bon bons". Over the years when I've talked about them to people, they kind of get turned off by that, I thought the dates were the best part. I believe this is the same recipe, except she used smooth peanut butter and dipped them in butterscotch...YUMMY!!!
