Canned Hot Green Tomatoes Or Peppers

- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1 clove Garlic shopping list
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 quart white vinegar shopping list
- 1 pint water shopping list
How to make it
- Sterilize pint canning jars.
- Into each jar put 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 clove garlic and 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes.
- Pack with green tomatoes or peppers filling within 1/2 inch from top of jars.
- Mix 1 quart of white vinegar to 1 pint water in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Pour mixture over tomatoes or peppers to fill jar.
- Seal and shake jar to mix ingredients on bottom.
- Process 15 minutes in a boiling water bath.
- Let marinate a couple of months.
