Shrimp Oriental

- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- 1 (15.5 oz) can pineapple chunks shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 2 TB cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 c. rice wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 TB chili sauce shopping list
- 1/3 c. ketchup shopping list
- 1 tsp. soy sauce shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper, cubed shopping list
- 1 red bell pepper, cubed shopping list
- Garnish: green onion slivers (or chopped green onion) shopping list
How to make it
- Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Stir together pineapple juice, sugar, and next 6 ingredients.
- Cook juice mixture in a large skillet or wok over high heat, stirring constantly, 15-30 seconds or until thickened.
- Add cubed bell peppers and cook 3-4 minutes. Add pineapple and shrimp.
- Cover and cook, stirring often, 3-5 minutes, just until the shrimp turns pink.
- Serve over rice.
