Ingredients
  • 1 can pillsbury refrigerated Crusty French loaf
  • butter-flavor cooking spray
  • 2T. granulated sugar
  • 8oz. pkg. reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1&1/2t. almond extract
  • 1 pkg. frozen blackberries; thawed & well drained
  • 1/3c. sliced almonds; toasted
  • 3T. powdered sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Bake bread as directed on can. Cool 5 min.
  3. Cut ends off of loaf.
  4. Cut remaining loaf into 24 1/2" slices.
  5. Arrange slices on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Spary each slice lightly with cooking spray & sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  7. Bake 8-10 min. until lightly toasted.
  8. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, extract & powdered sugar until combined.
  9. Spread cheese mixture onto toasted bread slices.
  10. Top each slice with 3 or 4 berries & sprinkle with almonds.
  11. Dust each bruschetta with powdered sugar.
