Ingredients

2 lb stewing beef

1 tsp salt

1 small can tomato soup

1 can water

1 c thickly sliced carrots

1/8 tsp pepper

4 celery stalks, chopped large

2 onions, thickly sliced

3 lg. raw potatoes, cut in 3

2 bay leaves

Directions

Do not brown meat.

Mix all ingredients together in a casserole dish with tight-fitting lid. Bake 5 hours at 275°
