Spicy Sheek Kebabs

Ingredients
  • 1Kg Minced Lamb
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Green Chillis
  • 4 cloves Garlic - Grated
  • Handfull fresh mint
  • Handful fresh Coriander
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp dried mint
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Juice of 1/2 lime

Directions
  1. METHOD
  2. Place all the ingredients into a large bowel and mix thoroughly.
  3. Cover and place in fridge for an hour or two ... Or overnight is perfect.
  4. SHAPE
  5. Mould small amounts of the mixture into either little balls, little sausages or burgers
  6. Burgers about 2 inches round
  7. Sausage about 2 inches long and about 1/2 inch thick
  8. Balls about 1 inch round
  9. FRY
  10. Fry in a shallow amount of vegetable oil for 3 mins per side or until golden brown on the outside and cooked through.
  11. OVEN COOK
  12. 20 mins in an oven at 200Centrigrade
  13. Serve hot or cold with a raita and lime pickle.
