Great Grandma used to make this cake for me all the time. It is yummy.

Ingredients
  • ¼ C. sugar
  • tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 2/3 C. applesauce
  • 3 eggs

Directions
  1. Blend sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. Grease a 10” tube pan or a bundt pan and dust with 1 T. of the sugar cinnamon mix.
  3. Mix cake mix with applesauce and eggs until smooth.
  4. Hold out 1 ½ C. batter and put the rest in pan.
  5. Sprinkle with the sugar mix.
  6. Top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 min.
  8. cool cake in pan for 15 min. then invert onto serving plate.
