Quick easy rice dish that is sure to please. It's one of our top favorites. Recipe taken from the Minute Rice box years ago and 'tweaked' to perfection by me of course.

Ingredients
  • 2 C Cooked Chicken, Cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 - 6oz Jars Sliced Mushrooms, 1 Drained and 1 Undrained
  • 1 Medium Green Pepper, cut into pieces
  • 14 oz Can Chicken Broth
  • 10oz Box (or bag) Frozen French Cut Green Beans
  • 2 T Vegetable Oil
  • Pinch Garlic Salt
  • Dash Pepper
  • 1/2 C Water
  • 2 C Dry Minute Rice

Directions
  1. (Set beans out to thaw a little while preparing everything else)
  2. In large, deep pan saute chicken, mushrooms, garlic and pepper in oil for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, except rice, and bring to a full boil.
  4. Stir in rice, cover, and remove from heat.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes covered.
  6. Remove Lid, Stir and Enjoy.
  7. *I like a couple splashes of Soy Sauce on mine.
