Mushroom Pork Chops

- cooking oil shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 tbsp water shopping list
- breadcrumbs of your preference shopping list
- 4 medium to large size pork chops - with or without a bone shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 2 cups of sliced portobello mushrooms shopping list
- salt shopping list
- ground black pepper shopping list
- dried parsley flakes, or fresh parsley shopping list
- 2 small cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup shopping list
How to make it
- whisk egg and 2 tbsp of water together
- sprinkle some salt and black pepper onto pork chops and beat them with the tenderizing mallet on both sides
- heat your favorite cooking oil in a thick bottom skillet over medium high heat
- dip each pork chop in egg mix, then breadcrumbs
- fry chops 2-3 minutes on each side, until crumbs are pleasantly golden-brown
- remove chops from skillet and place into a baking dish
- heat the oven at 375
- meanwhile, slice the onion and saute in the skillet where chops were cooking before, until translucent and fragrant
- add in mushrooms
- sprinkle some salt and pepper over mushrooms
- add in parsley - about 1 tbsp
- saute until all wilted and brown - about 3-4 minutes
- fold onions and mushrooms out onto chops in the baking dish and distribute evenly
- cover everything in layer of condensed mushroom soup
- bake for about 25 minutes
- serve with sauteed spinach, green beans, or green peas
