Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cut the onions crosswise i cm tic and separate rings.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
  • Mix wet ingredients.in another bowl.
  • Now pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Dip onion rings into fritter batter letting excess drip off. ( using tongs)
  • Fry in small batches for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.

    How fun! I think that my son could eat this. he is allergic to commerical breading, so he can't eat alot of food with breading, but I think This could work!!! Do you think that the breading would work with chicken, pork, shrimp???

    These are almost the same as mine. Don't you just love them? So much better than the gritty batter that comes on rings in restaurants. Most restaurants buy them frozen with batter on.
    You'll have to try battering a batch of green bell pepper rings. They're great.
