  • Gravy
  • 2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3-6 tbs of salt, garlic and onion powder
  • 8 tbs of pepper
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 6-8 cups of milk
  • 1 box of instant mash potatoes

Directions
  1. cook and drain ground meat
  2. add all seasonings
  3. add cup of flour
  4. brown meat and flour, until you can see that it's becoming thick
  5. add your milk and mix ** if you want the gravy to be extra thick add less milk or if you want it not so thick just add more milk**
  6. follow instructions on instant potatoes box as to how much mash potatoes you want to serve.
  7. when everything is done, just put gravy on top of mash potatoes and add a biscuit on the side and Enjoy!

I grew up eating this at least once a month. Only difference was we served it over toast or biscuits and left out the mashed potatoes. Brings back good memories


We make it this way and with dried beef.. We call it SOS!

Husband would eat it every day...
