Ingredients
  • oil
  • flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • milk
  • Thin:
  • 1 tbs oil, 1 tbs flour, 1/2 tsp salt and dash pepper, 1 cup milk
  • Medium:
  • 2 tbs oil, 2 tbs flour, 1/2 tsp salt and dash pepper, 1 cup milk
  • Thick:
  • 3 tbs oil, 4 tbs flour, 1/2 tsp salt and dash pepper, 1 cup milk
  • Very thick:
  • 3 tbs oil, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 tsp salt and dash pepper, 1 cup milk

Directions
  1. To cook: Blend oil with flour and seasonings in small, heavy saucepan. Add milk gradually. Cook over medium heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook 1 minute longer.
