How to make it

  • In a sauce pan, combine brown sugar, milk, corn syrup and margarine (or butter).
  • Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from the heat; stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  • Cover and refrigerate until serving.
  • Divide half of the peanut butter mixture between six parfait glasses; top with a scoop of ice cream.
  • Repeat layers.
  • Sprinkle with peanuts.
  • Garnish with a chocolate heart.

  • Chocolate hearts:
  • To start, trace your design several times on a piece of paper.
  • Place paper on cookie sheet and cover with waxed paper.
  • Heat 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave until melted.
  • Put melted chocolate into a heavy duty zip-loc bag and cut a very small hole in one corner of the bag.
  • Squeeze chocolate onto traced designs.
  • Refrigerate until chocolate is firm; about 15 minutes.
  • ENJOY ! :)
