Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground saigon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
  • 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
  • 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust, unbaked

Directions
  1. Mix sugar, salt and spices in a bowl
  2. Add eggs and beat slightly
  3. Add remaining ingredients; blend well
  4. Pour pumpkin filling into pie crust
  5. Bake at 425F for 15 minutes
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 350F and continue baking for 40 to 50 minutes, or until knife inserted in pie center comes out clean
  7. Cool a minimum of 2 hours before serving
