Blue Crab Bisque Recipe
This is a great bisque to serve as a first course for a special dinner.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 white wine
  • 2 cups low fat milk
  • 1 sm can blue crab
  • 1 can condensed low fat cream of asparagus soup
  • 1 can condensed low fat cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tbsp light cream

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan, except the cream.
  2. Heat to boiling.
  3. As soon as it begins to boil, turn heat down to low.
  4. Let simmer for about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Right before serving, add cream.
  6. For extra richness, a dollop of butter or a splash of sherry right before serving is a nice touch.

This sounds really good. Is blue crab the same as regular crab or is there something different? I can't recall seeing blue crab in the grocery store before.
