Toasted Coconut Rice Crispies

- 1 box (12 oz) of Kellogg's Rice Krispies or any other brand of plain puffed rice shopping list
- 4.5 cups (12 oz) of marshmallows shopping list
- 1 tbs of unsalted butter shopping list
- 3 tbs of coconut oil shopping list
- 3/4 cup of toasted unsweetened coconut shavings shopping list
How to make it
- In a heavy bottom pot melt 1tbs of butter and coconut oil
- Add marshmallows and melt them over low heat. Mix constantly
- Mix in coconut shavings
- Place the puffed rice into a deep bowl
- Pour the marshmallows over and mix well
- Lay out the mixture onto a buttered tray or baking sheet
- Smear a little bit of butter on your hands and gently press the mixture into the tray
- Let cool and cut into bars. cubes etc
