How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to about 200ÂșC.
  • Grease a muffin tin or arrange cake cases on a tray.
  • Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa together. An electric whisk is useful here but it can be done with a wooden spoon.
  • Mash the bananas in a seperate bowl.
  • Using an electric whisk/wooden spoon, mix eggs and low fat spread into the bananas.
  • Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ones and add the grated chocolate. Ensure all ingredients are well mixed then pour mixture into muffin tin or cake cases.
  • Bake for about twenty minutes.
