JALAPENO BURGERS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hawkins Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 medium red onion diced
  • 3 jalapeno peppers diced
  • 1 garlic clove diced
  • 1 cup Louisiana style hot sauce

Directions
  1. Mix peppers, onion and garlic in large bowl.
  2. Add hot sauce evenly into the ground beef and shape into 8 patties.
  3. Grill for 10 minutes and serve.
