How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients along with water to make a pliable dough
  • Roll into large rounds (bread and butter plate size, say 8") and 1cm (1/2") thick
  • Cook in a heavy bottomed pan on either side till done
  • Spread a little ghee on them and fry for a few seconds
  • Serve with curries, plain yoghurt or pickled vegetables
